delpart
Delete Resource Partition
Delete a resource partition. Note that you must delete all connections in the resource partition before you
can delete it. For information on resource partitions, refer to the description of addpart.
Note The delpart and delrscprtn commands are identical. The name ‘delrscprtn’ is consistent with the
corresponding command in Release 1 of the MGX 8850 switch. You can use either command.

MGX8850.1.9.AXSM.a > delpart 1 1
if_num Logical interface (port) number. For AXSM, the range is 1–60.
part_id The partition ID number in the range 1–5. Use dspparts (or dsprscprtns) to see all
resource partitions if necessary.
